Parenting Support for Neurodivergent Young People
Supporting parents and caregivers to better understand and support their neurodivergent
child or young person.
Parenting a neurodivergent child can be rewarding, but it can also bring unique challenges.
Many parents find themselves searching for practical strategies, reliable information, and a
space to reflect on how best to support their child’s development and wellbeing.
Through one-to-one coaching and guidance, together we explore practical, strengths-based
approaches that help families better understand their child’s needs, reduce stress, improve
communication, and foster independence and wellbeing.
Areas of support may include:
- Understanding ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Tourette syndrome, PDA, and
other neurodivergent profiles. - Navigating diagnosis and post-diagnosis support
- Communication strategies
- Managing anxiety and emotional regulation
- Supporting executive functioning skills
- School and educational challenges
- Building positive routines
- Reducing conflict and stress at home
- Encouraging independence and self-advocacy
- Supporting family wellbeing
The goal is not to provide a “one-size-fits-all” parenting solution, but to help families discover
approaches that work for their unique circumstances and strengths.
